The good news is the industry for nonalcoholic beverages is expanding, and we’re not just talking about soft drinks. As young adults continue to drink less than previous generations, we’ve seen a rise in zero-proof spirits and beverages, such as Kin Euphorics, Katy Perry’s Drink de Soi, Three Spirits and Seedlip, among others. It’s likely we’ll see the market diversify even more given that people are interested in healthier drinking habits. In fact, a recent study conducted by Sunnyside found that while excessive drinking remains high in the U.S., over half of the study participants wanted to reduce their frequency of alcohol intake.
In addition to more products becoming available, it’s clear that the industry is responding because bars are also serving up elevated non-alcoholic cocktails.
