On July 29, Kurt Braunohler and Scotty Landes, hosts of the Bananas podcast on Exactly Right, will host the second annual Bananas Splitty in the City 1K. The relaxed, downhill 0.621-mile event (or “un-race” as they like to call it) begins at Frogtown Brewery and ends at The Elysian where there will be a live Bananas podcast taping. Tickets are now available and participants are encouraged to dress as a banana or come dressed in a banana-adjacent costume. Proceeds will benefit the L.A. Food Bank.
