Private entrance elevators, heated floors and luxury car service are just a few reasons Gravitas Beverly Hills shines in Los Angeles’ social club scene. First debuted in Oct. 2024, the members-only establishment has already welcomed celebrity royalty like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky for dinner and comedians Bill Burr and Nikki Glaser to its stage. But despite the impressive amenities, Gravitas perhaps best stands out for its world-class service.
“I truly believe that our hospitality is what sets us apart,” says co-founder Seth Glassman. “It’s at the core of what makes us who we are. The Beverly Hills customer has very high standards. Exceeding that expectation was a must when establishing the Gravitas identity. Members and guests should always feel at home and taken care of when they walk through our doors.”
Gravitas’s ground-level restaurant pairs Kelly Architects’ Art Deco-inflected design with lush florals and greenery—all set atop a floor donning a Beverly Hills map. Appropriately called the Garden Bar, diners can get comfy in plush, oversized booths or bar seats while enjoying dishes from chef Preston Madson’s menu, wine curated by Jesus Evangelista and cocktails by mixologist Yael Vengroff.
Whether you prefer a thick prime rib or tender wagyu, the decadent cuts are menu standouts. Seafood delicacies, such as the Hokkaido scallop sashimi, round out the culinary offerings, while California-inspired salads, sandwiches, pasta and bowls round out the offerings. Gravitas’ dining experience is cemented by the details. Overhead, a retractable roof can further immerse guests in L.A.’s great weather. However, a light chill is never a problem. The tables come equipped with heaters, and the Garden Bar flooring can also be heated.
“The ability to be comfortably indoors, surrounded by greenery and fresh air while in the heart of the Golden Triangle just isn’t something you’ll find anywhere else,” reflects co-founder Brandon Steven.
Beyond the restaurant, the first floor is home to temperature-controlled wine lockers. Then, just up the grand staircase is a podcast recording studio, private dining rooms and a variety of conference rooms outfitted with poker tables and call-for-service buttons. Nights can last long on the second floor, where The Loft regularly hosts live entertainment. This lounge space was also the site for the club’s pre-Grammys celebration, a Super Bowl viewing party and a Comedy for a Cause event that benefited wildfire relief efforts.
Although an allotted number of guests is allowed for restaurant reservations, only members can reserve dining or participate in programming. There is also a standard no-photos policy, and laptops must shut down after 5 p.m. Gravitas knows there’s no luxury like privacy. It is, after all, host to the most exclusive party in town.
Gravitas Beverly Hills is located at 435 N Camden Dr 90210.
