Dynamic duo Adeline and Arthur began their relationship as best friends in 2013 while working for the same Hollywood events company. Arthur, a Hollywood native, and Adeline, a South African farm girl, quickly formed a deep bond. Their friendship evolved into love, with Arthur pursuing Adeline’s heart, though it took some time. After a separation, fate brought them back together eight years later, with Arthur’s transformation into a confident man. They rekindled their connection over Korean BBQ, shared their second first kiss, and love blossomed. Their multicultural backgrounds now enrich their enduring partnership and promising legacy.

Arthur’s thoughtful proposal on Feb. 2, 2023, was filled with surprises. He lured Adeline to an intimate “dinner party,” which turned out to be an elaborate setup. With rose petals and a photographer in the hallway, Adeline remained oblivious. When Arther knelt and proposed with a ring crafted with a South African diamond, she said yes, and his family, hidden all along, joined the celebration. Arthur also surprised his bride-to-be with a new apartment, adding even more enchantment to an already incredible day.

The couple received valuable advice from their brother-in-law to cherish a special moment during the event. They did just that, savoring the unity of Armenian and South African families at their wedding. Adeline, after months of preparation, delivered a heartfelt speech in Armenian, expressing her deep gratitude. The bouquet featured a South African White King Protea and Adeline’s uncle, renowned opera singer Marcelo Guzzo, sang “Ava Maria” as she walked down the aisle with her father. The wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and unity.

Cayla and Corey, who live in Brentwood with their dog, Bailey, met as college students at UCLA. After running into each other at a party five years later, they began dating. Fast forward three years to Corey proposing under a tree at the duo’s favorite hiking spot overlooking Los Angeles.

The couple wanted a timeless, beautiful, romantic and fun wedding weekend, complete with all their friends and family. They kept the ceremony short and sweet, having their flower-girl-nieces and ring-bearer-nephews walk down the aisle, in addition to themselves and their parents. The bride’s gorgeous gown—a Mira Zwillinger creation found at Nadia Williamson’s NWLA Bridal boutique in Santa Monica—set a romantic and elegant tone.

It was important to Cayla and Corey for the dance floor to be full, and for guests to have nothing to worry about other than having fun! After heartfelt speeches from the bride’s parents, maids-of-honor, and best man, the band played until midnight. Then, the afterparty kicked off with the DJ, espresso martini shots and late-night snacks.
