Showcasing the radiance of Los Angeles’ culinary scene, a new food and wine festival is set for early March.
From IMG, which spearheads the likes of Taste of London, Taste of Paris, Frieze and New York Fashion Week: The Shows, Los Angeles Wine & Food Festival will make its debut from March 1 to 3 in Santa Monica. It will run in conjunction with Frieze Week Los Angeles, which will take place Feb. 29 to March 3, and will bring together outstanding chefs to celebrate Los Angeles’ food, art and cultural scene.
"Following the success of our culinary festivals in the UK, Europe, and Australia, we are thrilled to launch in the US, bringing together innovative chefs, renowned restaurants, and passionate food enthusiasts at our Santa Monica venue. Los Angeles Wine and Food Festival is poised to be an exceptional experience, featuring a diverse lineup that mirrors the richness of California's food landscape and extends our commitment to thoughtful curation. Attendees can expect an extraordinary showcase of the most exciting offerings from the culinary world," says Stephanie Calape, IMG’s vice president and culinary managing director.
Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival will unfold on the Santa Monica Pier where attendees will get to partake in tastings from more than 30 chefs per day, which will also be inclusive of exclusive dishes, unlimited beverage samples, art collaborations, DJ sets and more. In addition, the Artist Plate Project activation by Michelle Hellman will be at the festival, which had a sold-out run at Frieze New York 2023.
With more programming to be announced, the culinary talent lineup includes Adam Perry Lang, Adam Richman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Alvin Cailan, Andrew Zimmern, Ben Ford, Claudette Zepeda, Duff Goldman, Geoffrey Zakarian, Jeff Mauro, Justin Pichetrungsi, Natalia Vallejo, Stephanie Izard and Timothy Hollingsworth.
