Louis Vuitton is celebrating as it announces the news of its first-ever freestanding men’s store in California and the eighth in the country.
While Louis Vuitton offers both women's and men's attire, the new store in Beverly Hills will have enough space to highlight the Men’s Fall-Winter 2022 collection designed by the late Virgil Abloh.
The freestanding men’s store will feature leather goods, ready-to-wear clothing, fragrances, shoes, watches and accessories. The architecture pays homage to maison’s design and craftsmanship while highlighting L.A.’s chic style and Californian landscape. With its central location on Rodeo Drive, the store will undoubtedly attract visiting shoppers and Angelenos alike. It opens to the public on July 26.
As you walk inside, you are immersed into a bright, open space with 17-foot ceilings and a grand staircase that curves with its blue leather handrails. The store is further enlivened by acrylic painting on stainless steel and mirrors by Marisa Ferreira, a sculpture of a “Giant-Man” from Virgil Abloh's oeuvre and abstract, mid-century-inspired murals by Alex Proba.
Louis Vuitton is a brand that prides itself on beauty, creativity and artistry, all of which come together in the design process of every collection and can be seen through the new store.
The space is truly magical and takes guests' shopping experience to the next level by creating an immersive experience, creating the perfect backdrop for Abloh's collection. His final collection, inspired by his Boyhood Ideology, takes an unique perspective of seeing the world via the eyes of a child.
In addition to housing the Fall-Winter 2022 collection, the new location will also include highly sought-after items that otherwise could only be purchased online. The cherry on top of the grand opening is the inclusion of Louis Vuitton's traditional on-site hot-stamping service— which allows clients to personalize any of their leather goods— and the fragrance counter offering custom engravings.
The store is located at 420 North Rodeo Drive 90210.
