That Lovin' Feeling

| June 27, 2012 | Parties

THE PARTY A dinner show and concert to honor this year’s recipients of The Steven S. Cohen Humanitarian Award, Kimberly and Dr. P.K. Shah, at the Hollywood Palladium THE PLAYERS Mark Litman, David Foster, Mary Hart, Dana Carvey, Michael Bublé, Kirk Douglas, Berry Gordy, Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Chelsea Handler, Paul Anka THE HIGHLIGHTS The evening’s emcee, Ryan Seacrest, welcomed SNL alum Carvey, who had the audience in stitches with his spot-on impressions of the night’s honoree, Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute doctor P.K. Shah, and various presidents. Following dinner, Bublé performed an intimate set, crooning songs such as “Feeling Good” and taking requests from the audience. In no time, the crowd was singing along and dancing between tables. Near the end of the gala, Foster, Bublé and Anka took the stage together, and the trio of Canadian musicians serenaded the Shahs with a personalized rendition of Anka’s hit “My Way.” Photos courtesy of Vince Bucci
