My earliest car-related memory was when I was gifted my first Porsche. I was just a few years old, and it was a 1:32 scale windup yellow 911. My love for cars grew over the years—they were constantly on my mind. Creating a vehicle company, especially this one, pioneering unique industry-transforming technology, is the intersection of my main interests— design, engineering, technology, production, team leadership, and entrepreneurship. I studied engineering at Yale to prepare for this opportunity—without being sure it would ever come my way. Luckily, much earlier than expected, I was presented with the opportunity to leave my investment banking job and join my father in building Czinger Vehicles and Divergent. I left my finance career, aligned myself with the mission and bet on our ability to build these companies. At that point, I fully committed myself to Czinger and have not looked back.
Our founding vision was to completely transform how we design, manufacture, and assemble vehicles to solve the industry’s critical environmental and economic problems. In order to solve these pain points, we had to create a perfectly programmable manufacturing base. After seven-plus years of development and 600 patent filings, we successfully developed and industrialized that system. This end-to-end platform integrates AI-driven generative design, additive manufacturing, novel materials and automated fixture-less assembly.
The 21C is the world’s most technologically advanced hypercar. It is the physical representation of over 600 patents and embodies the transformation from analog to digital production. Its unique inline fighter jet-style seating, in-house designed 1,350-horsepower strong hybrid powertrain, and novel AI-optimized and additively manufactured chassis are a few of its differentiation features.
From a performance standpoint, it is leading the hypercar class in all metrics, most importantly, on track lap time performance.
At Czinger, we continue to drive innovation by investing heavily in R&D. Our next-generation “functionally integrated” structures, such as braking systems, transmissions, and EV systems, are fully developed and will be implemented in production cars in the coming months.
Czinger was created from a strong combination of passion and mission-driven purpose. For myself, the day-to-day work of leading an incredible, elite team to develop next-generation products is immensely rewarding. Furthermore, seeing others experience these products and incorporate this technology into their products is highly motivational. That day-to-day work backed by the underlying mission to scale a production system that will benefit our planet from a sustainability standpoint is a unique combination to which I am grateful to devote my time.
