La Dolce Vita’s take on a classic cocktail, the magnificence of the $75 Vintage Negroni is in the sauce—or in this case, spirits. It presents a delicate harmony of 1980s Bombay Sapphire, 1980s Campari and Bordiga Excelsior Vermouth. Furthermore, history buffs will be excited to know that the Bombay Sapphire is actually from 1986, its initial year of production at G&J Greenall distillery in Warrington, Cheshire. Meanwhile, the Campari features its original formula using carmine dye derived from cochineal insects.

The cocktails at Casa Madera are inspired by the four elements: earth, water, fire and air. Allowing you to cleanse your energy before your meal, one of its most stunning liquid inventions embraces the latter for the bewitching Playa Paraiso. The gorgeous purple beverage marries your choice of Haku vodka or tequila with pineapple, watermelon, Garden of Eden cordial, coconut water, cucumber and eucalyptus air. It’s then crowned by a flower and cinnamon stick.

The creme de la creme of Los Angeles’ luxury institutions, this list would be incomplete without an entry by Hotel Bel-Air. Scan your eyes to the barrel-aged cocktail portion of the bar menu, a motley of drinks enhanced by the use of spirits aged four to six weeks in American Oak Barrels. The gem of the group is The Hundred Dollar Old Fashioned. Buzzworthy for more than the $100 price tag, this refined cocktail teams demerara sugar and Angostura orange bitters with WhistlePig 18-year Rye, the brand’s most mature rye.
