Celebrity stylist Kate Young transformed Little Beach House Malibu into a Parisian oasis for the Second Annual Maison St-Germain bash.
THE PARTY After a hostess greeted guests with St-Germain custom cocktails, stylish stars like Nina Dobrev, January Jones and Dakota Johnson sauntered through a colorful Jeff Leatham-designed floral tunnel to a Parisian oasis curated and hosted by celebrity stylist Kate Young. The event, which celebrated the 1,000 elderflowers that make up each bottle of St-Germain liqueur, was filled with stunning elderflower arrangements and an unmistakable Parisian swagger. THE SCENE Guests mixed and mingled throughout the 10,000-square-foot oceanfront pad, noshing on lamb chops and flatbread pizza as they experienced immersive installations like crystal readings by stylist-turned-shaman Colleen McCann and an elderflower temporary tattoo station. A rooftop garden with ocean views designed by Nine & Eye was an ideal spot to relax and sip cocktails. THE HIGHLIGHTS “There’s a thousand flowers in the St-Germain bottle, so we were thinking about how to incorporate [that],” said Young, who looked effortlessly chic in a floral Gucci dress. “I like the idea of… having to walk through a thousand flowers to get here.” The event marked Young’s first immersive installation: a feat she pulled off with her usual fashionable flair. -Brandi Fowler
