A charming new spirits lounge has entered the Hollywood scene.
Nestled behind Mother Wolf, Mars offers a sophisticated experience that effortlessly encapsulates the essence of Italian glamor fused with Old World luxury.
“We are thrilled to announce the opening of Mars within the historic Citizen News building,” said Giancarlo Pagani, founder of Pagani Hospitality. “We wanted to create an upscale destination, for like-minded individuals, that builds off the Italian luxury exuded from Mother Wolf.”
The cocktail menu presents a varied selection that features both modern classics and inventive libations curated to satisfy any taste. Ranging from $20 to $23, beverage highlights include the poured-tabelside Apple Negroni infused with frozen apple granita, vodka, Lillet blanc, lemon and granny smith and a refreshingly smooth Banana Daiquiri with Plantation Pineapple Rum, lime, Tempus Fugit creme de banane. In the mood for something less sweet? The Freezer Martini, a vodka-gin martini infused with a proprietary seasoned olive oil, is calling your name.
Whether you are looking for a luxurious night out or a private escape from the buzzing streets of Hollywood, Mars assures that guests will embark on an unforgettable nightlife experience. The lounge is open to the public, but memberships are available for purchase to ensure priority bookings, access to a rare spirits inventory, invitations to members-only events and one’s very own spirits locker inscribed with the member’s name.
The spirits locker is unmistakable to guests and takes up an entire wall of the lounge so that members feel at home. What’s more, a portfolio of both premium spirits and select wines can be purchased at the venue or brought in by members from their personal collections.
The library-inspired design of Mars seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces through the 3,000-square-foot property. Upon entry, guests are struck by beautiful red velvet walls and couches, which are coupled with Italian-inspired murals, brushed-mirrored ceilings and gilded chandeliers.
Outside, a whole other world is decorated with black-and-white marble checkered flooring and large antique urns that host abundant greenery. Outdoor walls are adorned with a mural by Kenyan Armitage.
A visit to Mars presents a safe haven for enthusiasts of grandeur and those searching for a privatized drinking experience.
Mars is located at 1545 Wilcox Avenue.
