The star-studded cast of the newest Marvel movie, Eternals, flocked to Los Angeles for the world premiere of the Chloé Zhao-directed adventure. Before the internet caught fire with the news that Harry Styles plays Thanos’ brother, the crop of A-listers turned heads on the carpet. See below for the best looks.

Gemma Chan

The English actress wore an ethereal, feathered gown from Nicholas Ghesquiere’s latest SS22 Louis Vuitton collection. Marking her second Marvel role, Chan plays cosmic superhuman Sersi.

Angelina Jolie

Igniting buzz by arriving at the premiere with her kids (who donned their mom’s previous red carpet looks), Jolie donned a draped corset and pant ensemble from Balmain and looked as regal as ever.

Richard Madden

The Eternal star caught the attention of many for swapping out his streak of white hair for a darker, coiffed style. Madden wore a custom midnight blue velvet tuxedo from Giorgio Armani.

Brian Tyree Henry

Before the rest of the world sees him portray the first gay superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Atlanta star channeled the color of royalty and rocked a purple trim suit and tapered black pants on the carpet.

Kumail Nanjiani

Also opting for purple, Nanjiani wore a custom Umar Sayeed sherwani for his Marvel debut. He completed the look with a pair of Louboutin boots and a Patek Philippe watch. Ahead of the premiere, Nanjiani told The Hollywood Reporter that the ensemble was an ode to his Eternals costume and that he intentionally wanted to use a designer in Pakistan.

Lia McHugh

The 14-year-old actress wore a geometric, red two-piece set from Christopher Kane’s Spring Summer 2022 collection with strappy red heels. True to Gen-Z nature, McHugh polished the look with jewelry from Aether Diamonds, sustainable diamonds that are alchemized from air.

Sam Richardson

With a purple pop of color, Richardson arrived in Tom Ford to the Eternals premiere. He walked the carpet in a pair of Alexander Boots, bringing an edge to his floral pants and soft, suede jacket.

Patrick Starr

The beauty guru turned heads in a hot pink and red jumpsuit from Fashion to Figure with a blooming headpiece to match. Achieving full glam, He rounded out the look with pink-toned makeup.

Malin Akerman

The actress channeled old-school Hollywood in red lipstick and soft, short waves. Wearing a silver-embellished, one-shoulder black gown from Abodi, Akerman finished the look with a black clutch and black heels.

Salma Hayek

Surprising fans by bringing along daughter Valentina, the Hayek stunned in a deep-v black Gucci gown in gold platform-toed heels, also from Gucci, that mirrored the dress’ lining. Perhaps the actress is ramping up for the release of her next movie, House of Gucci, out in November.
