When Melissa Haloossim started out in healthcare nearly 18 years ago, medical aesthetics was in its infancy. “It was a time when Botox wasn’t spoken about and people wouldn’t dare let anyone know what they were doing,” she recalls. A lot has changed in two decades and Haloossim has become a pioneer in the field. As founder of Skin Thesis, she and her team of nurse practitioners, registered nurses and physician assistants take a holistic approach to aesthetic medicine. She’s built a reputation on combining unique services to achieve optimal results and the most natural look possible.
With a loyal following of LA’s who’s who, Skin Thesis’ buzz soon spread beyond the West Coast. “I was ecstatic to learn that we were reaching people in other parts of the country and even other parts of the world,” says Haloossim.
Skin Thesis is set to expand to a new 3,700-square-foot flagship location in West Hollywood and Haloossim is launching MILAJ, a clean skincare line she developed for both kids and adults using pre- and probiotics. She’s also recently launched Skin Thesis’ Golden Cocktail Facial at-home kit, a microneedling stamping device that delivers a plant-based stem cell serum infusion to the skin for improved texture and tone, and a glowy complexion.
“Aesthetic medicine is not only an intimate service, but it’s also an emotional journey for many,” says Haloossim. “I’m honored to be the person that supports, treats and guides my patients to treatments that can ultimately make them feel better.”
