Moschino Fashion Show

| August 30, 2018 | Parties

Stars and fashion-industry insiders suited up in their boldest Moschino garb to take in the fashion house’s whimsical spring-summer 2019 resort collection.

THE PARTY Emma Roberts, Gwen Stefani, Kris Jenner and more got swept up in Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott’s whimsical world for a circus-themed fashion show. Guests struck a pose with stilt walkers and costumed performers inside a colorful tent at Burbank’s Los Angeles Equestrian Park. THE SCENE Shirtless weight lifters and clowns set the scene at the carnivalesque wonderland, where attendees took in circus acts before the main event. Scott—dressed in a custom ringmaster-style suit with yellow trim—took to the stage to deliver opening remarks. “You will witness death-defying acts of glamour,” he said. “A kaleidoscope of colors will tantalize your eyes. So, without any further ado, let the show begin!” Models soon strolled out in eye-popping designs packed with kitschy flair with frothy pink dresses and faux dove-covered bodysuits among the looks. THE HIGHLIGHTS As supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio and Stella Maxwell strolled the ring-shaped catwalk, RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Violet Chachki performed an aerial burlesque finale, cementing the show as one of the most innovative of resort season. -Brandi Fowler
