Then and now, the designer brands were top of mind for Angeleno shoppers. Just look at the intel from eBay.
The ecommerce platform uncovered the top selling luxury brands for handbags and watches from last year, and from what we can tell, Angelenos’ purchases were on-trend.

Top selling brands of handbags for Los Angeles in 2021 included the aforementioned Gucci and Prada, in addition to Chanel, Coach and others. And for the rise in popularity of smaller purses (hello early aughts!), take a peek at one of the top selling styles: the Prada Shoulder Bag. Alternatively, a top-searched style (that was not a top seller) was the Fendi Baguette. And as one would expect from any purse enthusiast, Angelenos were trying to track down the Hermes Birkin.

As for watches, three of the top sold and searched styles perfectly lined up—Rolex Submariner, Rolex Oyster Perpetual and Omega Seamaster 300.
