Heritage brand Moynat has brought Parisian craftsmanship to Los Angeles with its latest stop on a cross-country pop-up tour. The luxury French house—which debuted before Hermès and Louis Vuitton—unveiled its M Collection at Saks Fifth Avenue Beverly Hills on April 3, accompanied by an exclusive cocktail soirée attended by Becky G, Victoria Justice, Kali Uchis and more.
The centerpiece of the installation is a sculptural collaboration with British artist Michael Samuels. Inspired by the golden age of transatlantic travel, the piece features stacked vintage-style trunks that open to reveal Moynat’s contemporary M canvas collection—an homage to the house’s trunk-making origins.

“This is one of our first major U.S. activations,” says a Moynat representative. “It’s about building awareness and visibility. The sculpture concept recreates what travel once looked like—stacked trunks on a ship deck—and it reflects the craftsmanship we’ve been known for over almost two centuries.”
The pop-up follows a successful debut in Miami and will continue to cities like Chicago, Houston and Atlanta. Limited-edition items, including city-themed charms and small leather goods, are exclusive to each location. Guests can also enjoy complimentary personalization—a Moynat tradition.

“The U.S. is an important market for us,” says the rep. “Our founder, Pauline Moynat, was a trailblazing woman in design. Her legacy resonates today, and this is our way of honoring it—bringing it to life in a modern, accessible way.”
Moynat currently operates two U.S. boutiques—one at South Coast Plaza and another at Saks in New York— and hints at more to come, depending on the pop-up’s success. Fingers crossed another shop lands in Los Angeles before long.
