Paris restaurant Mr. T has decided to spread its contemporary French cuisine expertise all the way to Los Angeles with the opening of its newest location. Inspired by classic French cuisine and late-night street food, Mr. T Los Angeles will open its doors on Aug. 16 on Sycamore Avenue in Hollywood.
Sourcing their produce from local agriculturists and an on-site herb garden, Mr. T creates its dishes using only the finest seasonal ingredients to ensure customer satisfaction. This is why you’ll notice a varying seasonal chef’s tasting menu.
Within the L.A. location’s menu, you’ll find favorites from the Paris restaurant like the roast lamb kebab, comte mac and cheese with mimolette flambé, the “Uni” with Koshihikari rice, confit egg yolk and sea urchin crème, and caramelized half Liberty duck with weiser farm potatoes and crepe.

As for beverages, Mr. T will feature a comprehensive selection of fine burgundy and bordeaux, in addition to a variety of cocktails. Standouts include the signature Mr. T, made with vodka, blackberry and mint topped with St. Germain foam and Can’t Knock The Hustle made with Japanese whiskey and amaro flecked with smoked cinnamon.
While Mr. T in Paris rests in a sophisticated yet simplistic area, Mr. T Los Angeles will embrace Hollywood’s gravitation toward modern flare in its new location. With an industrial design feel, adorned with raw stone, white quartz and concrete, Mr. T will feature three custom engravings by French artist Vassili. To further create a bright and lively atmosphere, the restaurant also includes an outdoor patio area where customers can enjoy fresh air and still see the magic of the indoor dining space through inviting glass doors.
Created by restaurateur Guillaume Guedj of Gyoza Bar and Passage 53, Mr. T Paris opened in 2017 and has garnered exponential success in the restaurant industry ever since. Known for their dedication to French culture while still producing fresh, unique dishes, Mr. T will fit right into Angeleno culture.
