“My debut fabric collection is a love letter to lace and continues an ongoing theme of duality in my work, transforming traditional ideas of femininity and masculinity to redefine the empowered, modern woman,” says interior and furniture designer Natasha Baradaran (natashabaradaran.com/textiles). By subverting this historically femme fabric, Baradaran manifests it as something much more contemporary. Done in a variety of neutral tones as well as terra-cotta reds, earthy greens and saffron orange, the powerful patterns are available in sheer, woven, velvet, linen, outdoor and performance fabrics.
