From innovative new skincare to a divinely sexy perfume inspired by a treasured L.A. estate, the latest beauty finds will leave a long-lasting impression.
Known for luxurious customizable facials and precise, painless waxing in a chic, welcoming environment, Cheeks & Co. has become a neighborhood go-to for those living close to the Historic Old Pasadena location. Now, the popular spa is expanding, adding a West Adams outpost. “I love the central location,” shares founder Tina Uzzardi. “Many clients suggested I look into the West Adams neighborhood, and once I looked at a few spaces, I knew instantly it was our second home.” With a chic design scheme by Proem and the same menu as the Pasadena spa, visitors can expect services including the Gua Sha Glow, Face Trainer and Smooth Operator facials in 60 or 90-minute increments; waxing; and the option to become a monthly member. “I love pampering people and helping them find optimal skin health while also taking a moment for themselves,” says Uzzardi, who recently launched a clean skincare line. “I also love supporting and working with such an incredible group of women—both employees and our vendors.” cheeks.co

With locations in New York City and Brentwood, GoodSkin is the go-to aesthetics clinic for clients seeking innovative, effective treatments paired with a tasteful European approach. To enhance the clinic’s ethos, founder Lisa Goodman, PA, recently launched RMÉD by GoodSkin, a skincare line currently consisting of three serums: Resurface, Radiance and Renewal. “Our foundation is based on the holistic, hands-on GoodSkin method, with years of clinical experience,” says Goodman. “Researched and developed from a dermatology perspective and free of fragrance and irritating agents, our formulas are meant to be used safely by those with sensitive skin, as well as after in-office, sensitivity-increasing treatments such as lasers or peels.” Containing +++EGF, an exclusive regenerative complex, active botanicals and other proven dermatology ingredients, the targeted serums can be used alone or layered with other products. “In essence, RMÉD by GoodSkin goes beyond skincare,” Goodman shares. “It embodies a commitment to understanding individual beauty journeys and offers effective, intentional solutions for a timeless, natural aesthetic.” goodskinclinics.com

With a successful product line, an always-busy Beverly Hills spa and an active and engaging presence on social media, Shani Darden is one of the hardest-working women in Los Angeles. And she has a new product to prove it. “My Signature Nourishing Facial Mask is a soothing clay mask inspired by the custom mask used in my signature facials to soothe redness and irritation,” Darden says of the clay-based creation, which contains replenishing squalane, calming colloidal oatmeal and a soothing triple-tea complex. “I have been doing custom masks in my facials for years. I hand-mix the ingredients in each facial and whip them under the steamer for this beautiful, fluffy texture that feels amazing and provides so much nourishment to the skin. I worked on it for years to create the right formula for at-home use, matching the ingredients and texture of my professional masks as closely as possible.” 10 years after launching her cult-favorite product Retinol Reform, Darden is showing no sign of slowing down, recently welcoming Vanessa Lee’s beloved med-spa, The Things We Do (thethingswedo.co), into her space and planning what’s sure to be another hit skincare item. “I have some exciting newness in the hydration space for next year that I’m really excited about,” she hints. “I can’t share anything else about it right now, but I can’t wait for everyone to try it!” shanidarden.com

Bold, verdant and unforgettably over-the-top, famed stage and film designer Tony Duquette’s Dawnridge Estate is a feast for the eyes. And for Perfumehead founder Daniel Patrick Giles, it’s also a feast for the nose. Xanaboud, the latest in Perfumehead’s L.A.-inspired collection of scents, took inspiration from the home’s boundless aesthetic—along with Ed Ruscha’s “The Back of Hollywood,” “Xanadu” by Olivia Newton-John and ELO, the art of James Turell, and magic hour’s golden light. “Dawnridge is the epitome of decadence, and decadence best describes Xanaboud. “Through the potency and complexity of extrait de parfum, we wanted to capture the desire and magic of escaping into an exotic world, one where you forget time and become lost in the moment,” says Giles. “The maximalism of Dawnridge is at the heart of Xanaboud.” Describing the scent as an “oud unlike any other” and “rich, warm and powerful, yet vibrant and animalistic,” Giles IDs notes of vanilla bean, labdanum, Italian suede, osmanthus, Turkish rose and Indian jasmine in the intoxicating fragrance. “As a throw pillow in Dawnridge so aptly states,” Giles shares, “‘More is more.’” perfumehead.com

Celebrity esthetician and formulator Angela Caglia has created several standout products over the years, but this latest one may take the cake. Named Cell Forté Serum, the innovative formula “stands out and is first-to-market because of our proprietary BIOMSC blend,” Caglia shares. “It contains thousands of naturally derived patented human mesenchymal stem cell ingredients that consist of real exosomes, growth factors, peptides, cytokines and proteins combined with clinically proven synthetic versions and different molecular weights of hyaluronic acids and snow mushroom. All of the expensive competitors either use only synthetic or plant stem cells—which work great if you are a plant!” Meant to be applied to dry skin in the morning and evening, the serum replaces retinol, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serums—and never sensitizes your barrier. “It makes skin brighter, more radiant, reduces fine lines and even hyperpigmentation in 4 weeks,” Caglia explains. “After 4 months, people will think you had work done; it’s that good.” To bring the serum to life, Caglia—who is currently working on two more products in the Cellular Collection Luxury Biotech range—partnered with The Beverly Hills Hotel on the Angela Caglia Red Carpet Radiance Facial, which launched Nov. 1. “I personally trained their experienced estheticians,” she says. “It’s a lovely spa and should be a local destination too!” angelacaglia.com
