On March 10, Nomad Blvd. celebrated its NFT launch party in Venice Beach, nestled into Budman Studios right off of Abbot Kinney. The studio offers guests the chance to create and live among art simultaneously, making it the perfect space for the launch event.
Nomad Blvd. brought its community of Nomad NFT holders, artists and art enthusiasts together for a special night commemorating the successful sell out of the Nomad Blvd. NFT project.
The collection includes 3,500 Nomads created by and based upon the works of artist Isabelle Lago, 15 of which are special edition pieces by 15 acclaimed artists.
Venice Beach made for an idyllic launch event also because of Lago’s Venice Beach roots. After graduating from the University of Southern California, she found her place in the grassroots art crawl scene in the area, which is where her Isabelle Gorilla character originally emerged.
What’s more, these Nomad NFTs also act as a membership to the BLVD, a place where artists and collectors come together.
The memorable evening unfurled over tacos and drinks thanks to sponsors JAJA Tequila, Tolago Hard Seltzer, JuneShine Hard Kombucha, and Calidad Beer, in addition to candy from Sour Tooth. Enlivened with music, KITTYSAYWORD and Austin Millz DJ’d the night away, and if party goers wanted to take a break from dancing, they could opt for a tattoo from LA artist Poison Ivy.
Lago and a number of others featured in the project were in attendance with their Nomads displayed on NFT canvases provided by WHIM.
Artists part of the Nomad Blvd. project include Amanda Oleander, Ali Ossayran, Brian Morris, Claire Salvo, Gabe Weis, Gavin Meeler, Jana Nicole, Luther Brown, Mr. Melty. Parin Heidari, Sabet, Shantell Martin, Shanèe Benjamin, Wes Henry and Yuko Shumizi.
