Bonjour, I’m Baxter. Don’t be fooled by my humble rescue-dog origins. I’m the king of my castle in Nichols Canyon—and I don’t let my human, Patrick Herning, forget it. He’s co-founder and CEO of size-inclusive fashion site 11 Honoré, but, luckily, he remembers who’s boss. Canned food? Tasteless kibble? Not for moi. My palate has discriminating tastes—I’ll only take meal breaks with Just Food for Dogs, a weekly meal-plan delivery service that Patrick complains is basically human food. And, look, it’s not that I’m high-maintenance… but I positively refuse to wait for my breakfast. Vite, vite; it’s 7am. A table!

Since our house is a fashionable one, I love shopping, and I die for ShaggySwag, which delivers a box of my favorite toys and treats every month. They even include fashion accessories and essentials like paw wipes. It’s really superexclusive dog stuff too, not just the common items from regular pet stores—I would expect no less.

Frenchies often suffer health issues, but don’t worry, my health is in perfect condition: I make plenty of time for beauty sleep and enjoy regular grooming, puppy massages and tete-a-tetes with my best pal, Adrian—and I never say no to a power walk around the canyon. Like many Angelenos, I work hard, play hard, and I’m known for throwing epic parties where I graciously allow the guests to enjoy me in their laps.

Finally, I don’t want to brag, but I have friends in high places: My team used to look after Lady Gaga’s Frenchie, Asia. You know us Frenchies. We’re fabulous. PS: Adopt, don’t shop—merci!
