With immense success both in New York and Miami, Pasta Ramen is heading to Los Angeles to deliver the ultimate, exclusive dining experience from Sept. 15 through Nov. 13.
Suffice to say, Pasta Ramen is not your typical pop-up restaurant. It’s a Wafu-Italian omakase with 10 exquisite courses inspired by the Wafu pasta concept which originated in Tokyo.
For $295 per person, a limited number of guests will be able to reserve their spot at Pasta Ramen and be wowed by the Italian-Japanese fusion centered around serving the best quality noodles. With a flare for the dramatic, Pasta Ramen will not reveal its location to the public. Instead, guests with existing reservations will be notified of the address the day before their scheduled dinner.
Without giving too much of the mystery away, Pasta Ramen goers can expect to enjoy dishes like cacio e pepe filled gyoza dumpling topped with freshly cracked black pepper and parmigiano reggiano, porcini truffle brodo with fresh shaved black truffle and an in-house, dry-aged Japanese A5 Wagyu.
Partnered with HexClad, a hybrid cookware brand backed by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, Pasta Ramen utilizes imported Japanese and Italian ingredients, flavors, textures and techniques to create modern, culinary excellence. During the meal, guests will also be able to sip on top-shelf sake while taking in the luxe atmosphere of the intriguing, secret location. Plus, the chef will make themselves available to explain dishes, highlight ingredients and answer any questions that may come up.
While Pasta Ramen insists that guests keep the location on the down low, they do welcome social media hype with hashtags #pastaramen, #wafuitalian and #secretlocation.
