People’s DTLA, downtown’s newest dispensary, just opened and it has it’s very own parking lot. What more could you ask for?
Well, it somehow gets better.
For starters, the grand opening on Dec. 18 is going to be an all-day celebration. Right in the Fashion District from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., People’s DTLA will host local artists, brands, food and beverage vendors, in addition to their already stellar lineup of cannabis products. In particular, the event will feature live art from muralist Mr B Baby, The Taco Cartel, D.R.E.A.M. Donut Truck, custom latte art from Coffee Dose, nail art by Plenty of Nails, screen printing, a gift wrap station, terp bar and more.

What’s more, because People’s DTLA is all about the community, 5% of proceeds from launch day will go toward their philanthropic partners, Chrysalis and the Downtown Women’s Center. It’s part of the dispensary’s greater mission with these organizations, which will come to include an internship program that trains interns to work in the cannabis industry.
Under Unrivaled Brands, People’s DTLA marks the company’s second People’s-affiliated location and fifth overall dispensary in California. The new outpost is sister to People’s OC, a leading Orange County dispensary with a highly regarded reputation that Angelenos can also expect to be mirrored at the new location.
