A Perfect Pair

| February 7, 2014 | Parties National

To fete Luxe Me Now, a quintessentially female line of luxurious slippers that debuted at Saks Fifth Avenue this holiday season, the Beverly Hills location hosted a festive luncheon with LMN designer and co-founder Mary Ann Weisberg. Well-heeled guests—including 20th Century Fox chairman Dana Walden and philanthropist Susan Casden—joined Weisberg at a ritzy, 55-person table. Over a duo of quiches, the group marveled over the rhinestone- and beading-embellished slipper designs, emulated in the form of slipper-shaped sugar cookies. “When you think of luxury, you think of Saks Fifth Avenue—we are a perfect fit!” says Weisberg, whose husband searched the world futilely for the decadent slipper she desired, and instead gave her the seed money to create the ideal pair herself. –Photos by Donato Sardella for Saks Fifth Avenue
