THE PARTY Fashion designers and devotees united to take part in Otis College of Art and Design’s black-tie gala and student-designed fashion show, held at The Beverly Hilton hotel. THE PLAYERS Rosemary Brantley, Elaine Goldsmith, Todd Oldham, David Meister, Michael Maccari, Cameron Silver, Bob Mackie, Trina Turk, Ame Austin Max, Karen Stewart, Shelley Reid, Dominique Lemieux, Scott Williams, Liliana Casabal, Kristi McKnight THE HIGHLIGHTS Junior and senior students from Otis College’s fashion design department, mentored by the likes of Oldham, Meister and Maccari, made a memorable impression on the local fashion set with a runway presentation of more than 200 designs alongside Cirque du Soleil performers. A silent auction featuring student work and items such as a signed guitar from Ozzy Osbourne contributed toward the $1.1 million raised throughout the evening for scholarships and financial aid.
