PS, the private luxury terminal located at LAX, has officially opened its new kitchen with executive chef Matt Roman taking the helm.
PS is the epitome of luxury, offering seasoned travelers the opportunity to indulge at its private terminal lounge. By adding a touch of luxury and hospitality to travel, guests can relax away from the busy and stressful public terminals. With the new addition of the PS kitchen, travelers can now expect delicious foods with signature dishes featuring high-quality seasonal meals in the comfort of PS or to go.
“At PS, we are continuously enhancing all elements of the experience and, given the rebound in travel, we felt it appropriate to celebrate by revisiting our food and beverage program. We wanted to work with someone who embodies all things LA – creative, warm, laid back, and elevated. We are thrilled to have Matt Roman on board as our new executive chef and look forward to sharing his talent with our Members. His menu will be a welcomed addition to our other culinary offerings like local favorite Alfred’s coffee, seasonal mixology cocktails, and sommelier-certified wine pairings,” said co-CEO of PS Amina Belouizdad-Porter.
Chef Roman is the perfect head for this endeavor. With his experience in some of the best restaurants in Southern California, he brings expert-level skill and knowledge to PS. What's more, Roman has a unique passion for good food that gathers people together and grows a community. After years of experimenting with different cuisines, he strives to bring flavors of European cuisines to travelers to inspire guests for their future travels.

“Cuisine is often a love language for many and cooking is mine. Paired with my love of travel, I view food as a way to experience the world. I’m excited to join the PS team to bring my passions together to inspire our guests as they begin their journey or provide warmth and familiarity to welcome them home. Different cultures and locations around the globe inspire me, and I like to explore connecting themes from different cuisines and then push those ideas through a filter of California seasonality with a personal touch,” said Roman.
The new menu presents travelers with options for whether they are running in for a quick breakfast or have time to settle into dinner. Highlights include a salmon tartine, beet salad, soba noodle bowl, jackfruit vegan curry tacos, herb-marinated hanger steak, the PS burger and organic chicken breast (which comes with a delicious cauliflower puree, bagna cauda, baby carrots and caulini), among a number of other delectable options.
PS has a variety of other amenities that will streamline any travel experience. Some of these time-saving offerings include private TSA and custom screening, chauffeur-driven car from the aircraft door, private suites, luggage assistance, a spa and entertainment areas. All these luxuries give guests a stress-free, COVID-safe VIP experience that is worlds apart from traditional airport travel.
PS is located at 6875 W Imperial Hwy 90045.
