Akasha will offer holiday specials for Rosh Hashanah. Available for take-out, delivery or a selection in-restaurant on Sept. 15, 16 and 17, highlights include chopped chicken liver, matzo ball soup, beef brisket, a lineup of sides like old-school noodle kugel and sweet potatoes and a number of desserts, such as chocolate babka and apple crumb cake. Take-out and delivery orders must be placed by Sept. 10.

On Sept. 17, Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne’s A.O.C. will celebrate Rosh Hashanah with a dinner co-hosted by Amelia Saltsman, author of The Seasonal Jewish Kitchen. The evening will feature wine pairings, seasonal cocktails and dishes from the cookbook, such as duck liver crostini, ricotta dumplings with “chicken soup” and braised beef brisket. For Rosh Hashanah (available September 14 to 17) and Yom Kippur (available September 23 to 25), Birdie G’s is ready to stock your at-home feast. Its catering menu for the holidays includes whole chicken roasted with black lime and fenugreek; prime corned beef tri-tip with smoked tomato remoulade; curried carrot “Tzimmes” with pine nut and raisins; apple-sunchoke cake with hazelnut and caramel sauce, Southern kugel with chow-chow, pecan and sage brown butter; pickled beets with horseradish cream, capers, pickled onion, dill and everything spice and carrot miso-laced matzo ball soup.

In honor of the High Holidays, Huckleberry has created a farmer’s market-driven spread that can be picked up or delivered and feeds four people. The Rosh Hashanah dinner is inclusive of a whole Mary’s Organic Apple Honey Glazed Chicken on a bed of herby, pearl couscous; co-owner Zoe Nathan’s beloved grass-fed braised brisket; Milo + Olive’s Round Braided Challah; matzo ball soup; roasted squash and carrots with honey-date butter and honey-glazed baked apples topped with walnut oat crumble and more. It is available Sept. 15 to 17, but orders must be placed by Sept. 10. Then, available Sept. 25 with a Sept. 19 order deadline, Huckleberry will offer a Scottish salmon lox platter with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled red onions, capers and lemon-herb whipped cream cheese with Milo + Olive bagels, a Farmers’ Market vegetable quiche with a cornmeal cheddar-thyme butter crust, organic potato pancakes with organic sour cream and housemade apple sauce, sweet noodle kugel with golden raisin and cookie crumble and more.

Lieder’s will have a number of specials available for Rosh Hashanah in addition to its standard takeout lineup, such as braised head of salmon, cranberry apple kugel, lamb tagine with dried fruits, roast beef with porcini mushrooms and more. It will be open on Sept. 14 from noon to 9:30 p.m. and Sept. 15 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre-orders are now open.

Menu highlights include a variety of salads, sides, sweets, entrees and holiday classics like chopped liver, potato latkes, noodle kugel and challah. Orders are now open, but must be placed at least 48 hours in advance of pickup or delivery.

Offering meals that feed four to six people, Wexler’s is all about the full meal prep. Its Rosh Hashanah Dinner includes traditional holiday brisket, farmer’s market big salad, Dana’s matzo ball soup, noodle kugel with walnut crumble, roasted heirloom carrots with honey and rosemary, challah and honey cake, while the Yom Kippur Deli Break Fast features lox, pastrami lox, sturgeon, whitefish salad, vegetable plate, bagels (plain, sesame, everything), cream cheese, capers, pickles and babka muffins.
