For the first British Polo Day USA, English royalty and Hollywood society descended onto Will Rogers Historic State Park for an unforgettable afternoon of sport and revelry. Hosted by the president of the Will Rogers Polo Club, Andrew Bossom, and Lord Frederick Windsor, the day began with a Champagne Taittinger reception, followed by a live auction that raised over $54,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital and Homeboy Industries. But the real action happened on the field in two high-drama matches that saw Eton College and The London’s Southern California Polo Team take home the winning trophies—assuring that everyone, whether from England or L.A., went home feeling victorious. –Photos by Sam Churchill
