Run For Her was started by Kelli Sargent, who lost her mother to ovarian cancer. Kelli partnered with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2005 to "Run for Her." The event has now become one of the largest ovarian cancer run/walks in the nation. To date, Run For Her has raised more than $4 million for the Cedars-Sinai Women's Cancer Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. The run starts and ends at Pan Pacific Park, followed by an exciting finish line festival featuring music, prizes, t-shirts, goodie bags and giveaways.
