thredUP and the costume designers of the Sex and the City revival, Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago, launched a shopping experience inspired by their iconic styling.
Consumers will be able to visit thredUP.com/thecity to browse three distinct “closets" full of hundreds of thrifted styles hand-picked by Molly and Danny -- including select items straight from their costume wardrobe.
thredUP will donate 100% of the proceeds from each closet shop to The Willie Garson Fund.

The costume designers, who have been documenting their latest work on @andjustlikethatcostumes, have decades of experience creating the looks of some of television and film’s most stylish and iconic characters.
The duo worked together on the set of the ‘Sex and the City’ movies, and Molly began her career with Patricia Field, working on the original series together. In all of these projects, secondhand and vintage clothes have played a notable role.
“When we style a show, we start with building each character’s closet,” says Molly. “We like to put ourselves in that person’s shoes, so to speak, and select clothes that say something about their personality. This is how we approached curating each closet for thredUP. I hope fans use this as a jumping-off point to cultivate a style that feels true to them.”
