Relatively new to the design scene, Jake Arnold has made a major impact since launching his eponymous firm (jakearnold.com) in 2020. Not only has he designed homes for famous faces like John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Orlando Bloom, Aaron Paul and more, the AD100 designer disrupted the interior design world when he launched The Expert (theexpert.com), a digital platform that brings high-end interior designers and clients together virtually. Now, Arnold is bringing The Expert to life with Showroom.
“Showroom is The Expert’s multibrand e-commerce experience, which includes a 2,000-square-foot space in Culver City where designers and shoppers can preview select pieces in person, by appointment,” he shares. “What sets our offering apart is largely in the types of brands we’ve curated from and the level of specificity that’s gone into each piece.” For launch, designers like Brigette Romanek, Mark D. Sikes, Heidi Caillier, Jenna Lyons and Arnold himself have curated individual spaces within the showroom, each featuring a variety of brands, including Showroom’s first made-to-order collection designed by Arnold.

Beyond the in-person space, Showroom’s e-commerce platform will offer more than 1,500 pieces from Nickey Kehoe, Hollywood at Home, Woven and more. “One of the things I’m most excited about is our ability to offer historically trade-only brands such as Pierre Frey, Rose Tarlow and Dedar; rare vintage; designer reissues; and expert-owned collections by Disc Interiors, Shoppe Amber Interiors and Martin Brudnizki’s And Objects,” Arnold adds. Here, the designer—who’s currently working on projects on both coasts and a number of collaborations with brands—shares his personal favorite items.
