Looking for a lively, hip restaurant to not only grab your morning coffee, but also to head out to for a fun dinner with a fabulous menu?
The Sixty Beverly Hills and Umbrella Hospitality Group have joined together to present Ella, a fresh, new local restaurant opening Feb. 10.
Located at the hotel’s street-level corner of Wilshire Blvd. and S. Crescent Drive, the restaurant will have its coffee bar open everyday from 7 a.m. to noon and dinner reservations beginning at 5 p.m.
Ella, a result of collaborators Jason Pomeranc, owner of Sixty Beverly Hills and Austin Melrose from the Umbrella Hospitality Group, will give off a vibrant, cheerful atmosphere with a blend of live entertainment, jazz and vinyl.
“The goal and process in reimagining our spaces with the Umbrella Hospitality Group was to create a true home away from home,” Pomeranc said. “From grabbing a coffee, to a cozy setting for work or social play, to a delicious dinner with quality cocktails, to a happy hour with a scenic rooftop view, we want everyone to feel welcome to do it all… including staying the night.”
Brian Min, the executive chef, has created a diverse assortment of dishes ranging from Mediterranean to Asian to Italian cuisines.
There will be a wide selection of shared starters including sourdough focaccia, smokey charred eggplant dip and half-dozen Kumamoto oysters and main dishes, including Niman Ranch pork chop, dry aged grilled Branzino and tomahawk steak.
In addition to the flavorful menu will be full-flavored pastas, such as bucatini pomodoro, mafaldine bolognese and orecchiette and tasty pizzas such as Ella Maggie, White Guanciale and lamb sausage.
What's more, as part of the Umbrella Swim Club, you can relax on the newly designed rooftop lounge at Sixty Beverly Hills for a lavish happy hour experience.
