Following the opening of locations in New York City and London, Soho House has continued the on-the-ground expansion of Soho Home with the debut of Soho.Home.Studio in Los Angeles.
“We are delighted to be opening our doors right in the heart of L.A.’s Design District and only minutes away from our House and Works locations,” said Aalish Yorke-Long, Soho House’s retail managing director. “This Studio will be both a destination for our new Soho Home collections and a hub for our growing interior design service where we help people bring their design vision and the inspiration of the Soho Houses into their home with the introduction of in-home consultations— a first for us.”
Marking the fourth site globally to open within a year, the location along Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood parallels its other locations in NYC’s Meatpacking District and Notting Hill’s Westbourne Grove.
As their first studio on the West Coast, it is a stone’s throw from the newly opened Holloway House.
“Our Soho.Home.Studios draw on what our members want and love, being able to bring the look of Soho House home,” said Andrew Carnegie, president of Membership Collective Group. “L.A. has always been a special place for Soho House, and we’re delighted to bring a physical presence for our members and guests to see and experience the product in person. Melrose studio will complement the recently opened Meatpacking location.”
“This last year has seen greater demand from our members for our dedicated interior design service and the Melrose location builds on that offering with a larger interiors team and the introduction of home visits to launch soon,” Carnegie added.
Housed in a 9,308-square-foot, two-story space in West Hollywood’s Design District, Soho.Home.Studios Los Angeles features an in-store interior design service, a café in partnership with Grind Coffee, limited edition artwork for sale (as part of a collaboration with M.A.H Gallery), a member market and a regularly revolving curated edit of product collections by Soho House members.

Through Soho House’s Environmental, Social and Governance program called House Foundations, they have also launched a partnership with A Sense of Home, which works to prevent homelessness by creating first-ever homes with donated furniture and home goods for youth aging out of foster care. In addition to serving as a recommended partner for their interior design clients, A Sense of Home will help redistribute Soho.Home.Studio’s unsold goods.
Soho.Home.Studio Melrose is located at 8540 Melrose Ave 90069.
