The launch of the miso-caramel delicacy officially kick-starts Sprinkles' new astrology series, which will regularly feature celestial-inspired cupcakes starting Jan. 24. What’s more, the cupcakes' development comes from the most knowledgeable of astrology sources. Coalescing their respective fields’ expertise, Sprinkles' new line is in collaboration with Sanctuary.
“Teaming up with Sprinkles for this fun line of astrology-themed cupcakes has been such a blast,” said Ross Clark, CEO and co-founder of Sanctuary. “We’re excited for everyone to try their zodiac flavor!”
Adhering to Sprinkles and Sanctuary’s mission to produce a delicious and colorful interpretation of each astrology sign’s innermost traits, the Aquarius cupcake features a caramel cake filled with miso-spiked caramel and cream cheese frosting.
“As passionate innovators, it made perfect sense for Sprinkles to combine the emotional connection people have with food to the emotional qualities within astrology,” said Michelle Wong, chief marketing officer of Sprinkles. “We are excited to unveil this new line of cupcakes in collaboration with Sanctuary, an authority in the astrology space, to offer our guests new and exciting flavors that draw inspiration from their unique personalities within the zodiac.”
After Aquarius season ends on Feb. 18, it’s all about Pisces until March 20. The water sign is well-known for their creative, intuitive and compassionate energy— all of which is reflected in the Pink Fantasia. The water sign-celebrating cupcake totally channels the Pisces’ dreamy spirit and is made up of fluffy pink vanilla cake filled and topped with pink marshmallow meringue. Don’t read too far into Olivia Rordigo’s debut album name. Even living in her Sour era, we have no doubt our favorite spicy pisces will love this sweet-tooth confection.
