Stagecoach takes place over the course of three days, from April 26 to 28. Rain or shine, over 75,000 fans are anticipated to flock to the Empire Polo Club grounds in the Coachella Valley, which opens all three days at noon and closes at midnight.
Bags are allowed! You’ll want to load up on essentials to get through desert days and nights. You are welcome to bring 20 x 20 or smaller bags and backpacks. Be prepared for the heat by packing bandaids, cameras, Chapstick, hand sanitizer, plastic water bottles, water misters and other recommended items. Skip the air horns, scooters, chairs, coolers, glass bottles, glow sticks, hammocks, and hula hoops, as they are not permitted inside the festival. There are also lockers available so you don’t have to carry everything around all day and night, which are also helpful for when you need to do an outfit change to prepare for hot desert days and chilly nights after sunset.
Headlining this year’s festival are Morgan Wallen, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church.
Even if you are not a die-hard country music fan, there are artists for everyone. You won’t want to miss Post Malone, Leon Bridges and DIPLO! See the lineup for more info.
If you’re planning to drive to the festival, parking opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 2 a.m. It operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and every occupant in the car must possess a wristband. Alternatively, you can secure preferred parking passes in advance for convenience.
Opting for drop-off or a ride-share service? Head to the designated rideshare stand at Ave. 49 and Monroe St., accessible via the yellow path after the festival. Walking, biking, private cars, shuttles and public transportation are also viable options. Just be sure to allocate an extra 30 to 90 minutes, depending on your drop-off location and the time of day, to navigate to the entrance and pass through security. For more details on travel, commuting and parking, consult the parking page.
Stagecoach may be a music festival, but just as much care is put into its food and beverage program as is the talent lineup. So come hungry and thirsty, you won’t want to miss it!
Located on The Terrace are the Beer Barn and The Cabin, where you can indulge in some shade, craft cocktails and cold beer. A wide variety of delicious eats will make your weekend even more memorable. Highlights include Something Good LA, Express Hibachi, Flavors of East Africa, Heritage LA, Homeslice Pizza, Chick Next Door, Afters Ice Cream and more.
Staying hydrated is crucial during the desert festival experience, whether it’s a comfortable 78 degrees or a scorching 110+. Make sure to drink water consistently from day to night to keep yourself going strong. Look out for drinking stations scattered throughout the grounds; if the lines are long near the entrance, chances are you’ll find shorter ones deeper inside.
If you’re eyeing festival merchandise, don’t wait too long—snag it on the first day to avoid long lines and potential sell-outs. And don’t forget your face mask—it’s a must-have, especially during windy nights. If you suffer from allergies, consider wearing a mask on the dusty walking paths from your drop-off site to the entrance.
Opting for a pedicab ride can also save your feet and energy levels. Beat the rush by entering the festival earlier or later than the popular 4 p.m. time slot to minimize wait times and ensure you catch your favorite artists’ sets without stress.
This festival weekend, Guy’s Stagecoach Smokehouse is bringing together barbecue bosses from every corner of the USA! Nestled right in the heart of the festival, the barbecue bonanza comes complete with a fully stocked bar, eats and cozy shaded seating. And don’t forget your bib—this barbecue bash is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bib).
