More than $2 million was raised to support the Fulfillment Fund’s mission at the 20th annual STARS Benefit Gala on Tuesday, October 14th, at The Beverly Hilton, as Relativity Founder and CEO Ryan Kavanaugh was honored for his philanthropic contributions to the community with the first-ever Tom Sherak STARS Award.

With a star-studded audience of more than 800 guests, comedian John Oliver served as emcee for the evening which included a special performance by Academy Award© winning performer Jennifer Hudson and a live auction co-hosted by Kathy Griffin.

The Fulfillment Fund is a nonprofit organization that makes college a reality for students growing up in educationally and economically under-resourced communities.
