THE PARTY A debut party for the West Hollywood Library Murals created by artists Shepard Fairey, Marquis Lewis (artistically known as Retna) and Kenny Scharf as part of MOCA’s Art in the Streets initiative THE PLAYERS Jeffrey Deitch, DulĂ© Hill, Rosson Crow, Donovan Leitch, Maria Arena Bell, Jeremy Scott THE HIGHLIGHTS Guests enjoyed vittles from popular food trucks including Me So Hungry, Heirloom LA and King Kone at the library’s lot party, while taking in Fairey’s vivid two-part mural of an elephant and a dove symbolizing peace. The three artists commissioned for the project were on hand to speak about their massive pieces adorning the exterior walls of the newly opened public library and its adjacent parking structure.
