THE PARTY The institute hosted its inaugural L.A. benefit at Franklin Canyon Ranch. THE PLAYERS Anna Kendrick, Norman Lear, Christina Lahti, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Michelle Satter, Lisa Cholodenko, Clark Gregg, Alan Horn, Stacy Peralta, Wally Weisman. THE HIGHLIGHTS Institute founder Robert Redford took the stage to a standing ovation, delivering a heartfelt speech and introducing a montage chronicling Vanguard Award winner Michelle Satter’s work as Director of the Institute’s Feature Film Program since 1981.
