THE PARTY Invited guests, along with Angeleno’s April cover star Chris Hemsworth and the issue’s Men of Style, came to celebrate the magazine’s release at The Standard Hollywood. THE SCENE Sponsored by Thuzio Executive Club, the evening event took place at the hotel’s sultry nightclub, mmhmm. Guests, such as actor Diego Boneta, actress Eva LaRue, and Men of Style Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Steph Sebbag, sipped The Huntsman (a Moscow Mule made with Belvedere vodka and named for Hemsworth’s latest film) and indulged in passed appetizers including Jidori chicken skewers and tempura-fried squash blossoms with goat cheese mousse. Throughout the night, guests enjoyed a decked-out Prime Booth photo booth, which instantly delivered entertaining animated GIF portraits to social media. THE HIGHLIGHTS Angeleno Publisher Chris Gialanella and Vice President, Editorial Director and Editor-in-Chief Beth Weitzman welcomed the enthusiastic crowd prior to introducing a never-seen behind-the-scenes video from the Hemsworth cover shoot with photographer John Russo.
