The Class will open Sept. 15 in Santa Monica, bringing the originally New York City-based fitness and mindful studio all the way to California.
Coming this fall, The Class is a fun and challenging workout that combines mindfulness, pilates and dance cardio into a unique workout experience to help you feel better. Celebrity fitness enthusiasts such as Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys and Gwyneth Paltrow are all fans of the workout.
How does The Class work? Enhanced through a thoughtful musical playlist, it is led by guided instruction and is mat based. It combines familiar workouts exercises like burpees, jumping jacks and squats that leave you feeling energized.
The Class also borrows elements centered around the lunar phases, such as crystals, to help energize and ground students. Not only will you feel recharged, but students can also expect to be able to tap into their mind, clearing any mental stress and letting out an emotional release. There is a little bit of everything for everyone: Restore, Kids, Prenatal, Focus, Recover and Meditation.
Additional experiences also aim to take you through body transformation and mind exploration through different retreats such as The Immersion, The Retreatment, Team Building, Team Morale, conferences and seminars and celebrations. These additional experiences are meant to bring ourselves, friends, families and teams together to refocus and uncover inner resilience.
The Class was founded by Taryn Toomey in 2013 in New York City and has been growing ever since. In 2017, it launched its online version, The Class Digital Studio, and spread to a global audience. Last month, it came to the Santa Monica Pier where hundreds of attendees were able to experience a 60-minute cathartic workout, bringing their minds and bodies together in a safe and fun outdoor environment.
With the grand opening of its classes , The Class is offering a special welcome promo for new students to receive two free classes. Just use the code: BACK2SCHOOL.
The Class is located at 2433 Main Street Santa Monica.
