The Party: A private opening of sculptor Soraya Sarah Nazarian’s exhibition Strength Revealed: A 25-Year Retrospective at Gallery 817. The Players: Barbara Gilbert, Peter Mays, Sam Nazarian, Elsa Longhauser. The Highlights: Art world luminaries and fans gathered in WeHo to celebrate a collection of Nazarian’s works, curated by Barbara Gilbert. The sculptor is recognized for her work in stone carving, often inspired by the human form and Jewish ritual objects.
