Sugar cravings met their match during the Grand Gala Chocolate Awards, held at UltraLuxe Cinemas in Anaheim. It marked the close of a weekend-long chocolate, wine, coffee and music fest that ran in conjunction with Chocolate: The Exhibition at Muzeo and included a 40th anniversary screening of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Among the guests: Mel Stuart, director of the 1971 classic. Dubbed a “groovy and wild success” by event chairman Lance Perkins, the weekend raised funds for Muzeo arts programs.
