The Last Laugh

| February 22, 2012 | Parties National

THE PARTY Hollywood’s funny set shared laughs offstage before putting on a sidesplitting show at downtown’s Vibiana. THE PLAYERS Co-chairs and husband-and-wife team Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller; Sophia Bush, Judd Apatow, Ahna O’Reilly, Patton Oswalt, Chris Lowell, Donald Faison, Ben Gleib, Brian Posehn, Julianna Guill THE HIGHLIGHTS Industry heavy hitters chuckled the night away during back-to-back stand-up, musical and magic show acts by performers such as Aziz Ansari, Tenacious D (Jack Black and Kyle Gass), Charlyne Yi and Justin Willman. Bruno Mars closed the evening with a comedic yet soulful rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” followed by a medley of ’90s hits. BEST IN SHOW The LOL-filled evening included a few surprises—from Judd Apatow spontaneously auctioning off a date with Jersey Shore’s Pauly D (who played DJ for the night), to Sophia Bush, who was briefly the front bidder for lunch with David Krumholtz at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, but ultimately lost to Evan Goldberg, who swooped in and won.
