THE PARTY An opening reception for the debut of Love, a 14-artist exhibition at Venice’s Kana Manglapus Projects THE PLAYERS Maximillian Chow, Tao Ruspoli, Rocco Mediate, Chad Attie, Noah Bean, Eric Balfour, Stacy Peralta, Ali Fatourechi, Adam Secore, Kwaku Alston THE HIGHLIGHTS Conceived as a multimedia tribute to Valentine’s Day, the exhibit depicted fresh perspectives on our most amorous emotion. The show was a labor of love, from photographer Xela Mandel’s collaboration with NYC artist Curtis Kulig, best known for his famed work “Love Me,” to Kristen Shaw’s popular wood-framed drawings and handwritten poetry, to the pink-toned jewelry by Kathy Rose for Roseark.
