The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles is offering guests the chance to take their taste buds on a trip across Latin America in February 2023.
Next year, the esteemed luxury hotel will unveil its new elevated dining collection of elevated dining experiences, Sendero. Located on floor 24, it will boast gorgeous views of surrounding downtown Los Angeles and beyond.
Inspired by the food variety you find South along the Pan American highway, Sendero offers multiple dining concepts with a melody of flavors. The dining spaces include Corteza, Leña, Volante and The Agave Library.
“A complex of four venues in one, Sendero is a journey across the cuisine of Latin America,” said Javier Cano, the area general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles. “While all of the spaces share a similar path, each offers its own visual and gastronomic excursion. Guests will feel as if they are taking a culinary road trip, encountering an array of flavors as they move from space to space.”

If you are craving refreshing seafood, make reservations at the Corteza at Sendero. Dedicated to Baja cuisine and decor, the lively dining room is bright and colorful. For those who prefer steak, the Leña at Sendero awaits you. The Argentine steakhouse pays homage to the rich history of gaucho ranching. The space contrasts Corteza with its deep colors and warm wood detailing.
Meandwhile, Volante is the place to be for special occasions. The restaurant will be a unique culinary experience by bringing the chef’s table to guests. Set to open in late 2023, Volante is an intimate dining experience that allows you to interact with the chef.
After you have a delicious meal from any of these restaurants or if you're just looking to go out for a great drink, stop by The Agave Library for a nightcap. The plush, intimate room showcases rare and premium tequila, mezcal and other agave-based spirits. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a delicious night out of feasting elsewhere at Sendero.
The mastermind behind this new and innovative dining experience is the talented chef de cuisine Kevin Luzande. With more than two decades of experience, Luzande has expansive knowledge of Latin cuisine and most recently served as executive chef of Acre Restaurant in San Jose del Cabo in Mexico. His other credits include serving as chef de cuisine at Riviera Restaurant and Playa Restaurant in Los Angeles and building the culinary program at Acabar Restaurant. There's no doubt you'll taste his mastery and passion in every dish across Sendero.
As the opening approaches, you can keep your eye out for more information about Sendero on The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles website.
