The Party: A celebration for New York Times best-selling author Jill Kargman’s page-turner, Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut, was held at the Chanel boutique on Robertson. The book signing for L.A.’s most fashionable lit wits honored Kargman’s first work of nonfiction comprising humorous essays and observations from her life experiences. The Players: Annie Guest, Magda Berliner, Leyla Salavatova, Charlotte Kidd, Rachel Waranch, Diana Gitelman, David McMillan, Diana Miller, George Wang, Jessica Lee, Sophie Kargman, Rebecca DiLiberto, Kathy Gohari, Leah-Vail Soloff, Erica Krupicka, Taya Ladame, Pedro Rubio, Renee Koch, Antonio Soto, Scott Fanslow, Todd and Emma Schulkin, Tabitha Shick, Josie Freedman, Ben Spector, Kimmarie Johnson. The Highlights: A room of Chanel-clad guests mingled and sipped Champagne while Kargman personalized copies of her comedic book. The party also spilled out onto the store’s patio, bedecked with white ranunculus flowers.
