How to Make Breadblok's Turkey Baguette Sandwich with Cranberry Relish

In February 2020, Breadblok brought a reimagining of French staples to Santa Monica and set a new standard for gluten-free baking for the city. Come December, Breadblok is set to expand to the Eastside of Los Angeles as part of its rollout of multiple locations across town, which will come to include Venice and Beverly Hills.

Founders and sisters Chloé and Celine Charlier are excited to expand the availability of their delicious gluten-free baked goods to Silver Lake. Such enthusiasm can be seen in the larger restaurant footprint of the new location. Larger than the Santa Monica café and bakery, Breadblok Silver Lake will feature an outdoor patio and sitting area.

At all locations, the Breadblok menu will include the same rotating seasonal menu of bakery and kitchen selections, such as gluten-free breads, croissants, tartlets, donuts, scones, quiche, salads, sandwiches, organic jams and vegan milks. What’s more, the Silver Locations steps up to its California-meets-France aesthetic and will offer gluten-free beers and wines from Provence, France.

With holiday goodies on the mind, Breadblok has you covered for when you need to satisfy that cranberry sauce craving. For a hearty turkey baguette sandwich with cranberry relish, follow Breadblok’s recipe right from their fall-winter menu below.

Turkey Baguette Sandwich with Cranberry Relish

Ingredients:

Mayonnaise (16 g)

Radish Sprouts (4 g)

Red Heirloom tomato (2 halved)

Turkey (2 slices)

Cheddar (2 slices)

Cranberry relish (8 g0

Breadblok mini baguette (poppy seed)

Method:

Slice a Mini Baguette in half (Breadblok uses their Mini Poppy Seed Baguette)

Spread mayonnaise on bottom half

Lay sprouts on bottom of the baguette

Add sliced tomato, turkey, and cheddar to the sandwich

On the top baguette, spread the cranberry relish – recipe below.

Cranberry Relish

Ingredients:

Butter (unsalted, 25 g)

Sweetener (your choice, 25 g)

Filtered water (59 g)

Raspberry vinegar (13 g)

Ground Pepper (1.25 g)

Cranberries (280 g)

Method:

Melt butter in a pot

Once the butter is melted, add cranberries and cook for 30 minutes on low heat

Add water, black pepper, and sweetener of choice

Blend well
