On April 9th, Master Chef and Bouchon Bistro owner, Thomas Keller, opened his Beverly Hills restaurant to The Friends of the Semel Institute's "Food and Friends at Bouchon" luncheon. Chef Keller prepared a "Food for Thought" feast for guests, proving brain-healthy foods can be both delicious and elegant. Guests had the rare opportunity to venture into Bouchon's state-of-the-art kitchen for tours and cooking demonstrations before hearing a few words from guest speaker, Dr. Matthew Lieberman. As a UCLA Professor of Psychology and author of the critically acclaimed book, "Social," Dr. Lieberman is an expert in his field, and he shared with guests how enjoying food and meals with loved ones is integral to forming social connections.
