THE PARTY Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli welcomed fashion fans and actresses dressed in frothy, single-color confections made in the fabled Italian house’s signature red, and also in white, nude and black. THE PLAYERS Gia Coppola, Jason Lewis, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Lady Victoria Hervey, Monet Mazur, Rachel Roy, Isabelle Fuhrman, Minka Kelly, Alice Eve, Shell and Craig Cardon The HIGHLIGHTS Rows of screaming fans congregated on Rodeo Drive sidewalks to catch glimpses of guests turned out in the impeccably feminine Valentino dresses Chiuri and Piccioli create for the fashion house. Inside the boutique’s gracefully designed rooms, socials and celebs admired the lace and detailed stitching on spring ready-to-wear pieces. Modernist British architect David Chipperfield created perfect spaces for quick tête-à-têtes (Rachel Zoe and Molly Sims managed a fast post-carpet chat in one such spot on their way through the boutique). But despite all the dolled-up PYTs, guests agreed that the real eye candy was hanging on the racks. Photos Courtesy of Stefanie Keenan
