Verizon 4G4HopeLA Finale

| April 19, 2013 | Parties

Verizon Wireless and Modern Luxury's month long social media campaign #4G4HopeLA successfully pitted four local celebrities against each other, each of them vying for a chance to win 10K for the charity of their choice. X-Games star Todd Potter, DJ Zen Freeman, Designer Lori Dennis and Chef/Restauranteur Ricardo Zarate spent the month battling it out via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in order to garner votes.

The Lexington Social House hosted the celebration to announce the winners of the philanthropic campaign. Todd Potter won the grand prize of $10,000 for his charity, Chelsea's Hope Lafora Children Research Fund. Runners up Zen Freeman won $4,000 for Los Angeles Mission's The Anne Douglas Center for Women, Lori Dennis won $4,000 for Union Rescue Mission's Hope Gardens Family Center, and Ricardo Zarate won $4,000 for Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry.

Guests enjoyed an evening filled with Verizon demonstrations, including mock cover photo shoots where guests graced the pages of Angeleno, and experienced wireless video gaming systems. Revelers enjoyed Duvel Beer and specialty cocktails by SVEDKA while grooving to music by DJ Richie Rich.
